About “Attractiveness”

Charm depends on how wasteful, unnecessary, and inefficient it is.

Hence, novels have charm.

It is precisely because there are unnecessary expressions, useless phrases, and unfamiliar metaphors that we can perceive the charm in them.

Conversely, it is difficult to find appeal in what is efficient, practical, and useful.

This is true for a person, a concept, or a thing.

To live an attractive life is equivalent to how to live a wasteful, unnecessary, and inefficient life.
